Relax with “Joe Hisaishi” 久石讓 (Part I) May 31, 2008

Joe Hisaishi is a brilliant composer, singer, author, arranger, pianoist, typesetter and head of orchestra in Japan. Mostly, he spent his time on composing. He is regarded as one of the most influential composers in the Japanese film industry. He composed over 40 film soundtracks, including Prinicess Mononoke (1997), My Neighbor Totoro  (198 8) by Hayao Miyazahui, Spirited Away (2001), Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind  (1983), Howls’ Moving Castle (2004), and other films by Kitano Takeshi. Besides, the song of the tale of mari and three puppies in my previous post is also made by him.

 

 

You can close your eyes to enjoy the songs that he was playing…. LET’S ENJOY!

In these years, he toured actively to perform in a variety of styles: Piano solo, ensemble and orchestra. The following are the Japanese animation videos that he performed and composed. Besides, all of these Japanese animation were made by Hayao Miyazaki. Those animations sometimes reflects the reality. Therefore, it is worth to watch it. I will introduce about him in the next post.

I can’t find the one which played by Joe Hisaishi, but this is the original soundtrack of this animation which was composed by him.

    Yes, You’re right, there is no border in MUSIC. No matter we use different language and mother tongue. MUSIC seems can really join the different world altogether….. ;-)
