Moon River” is a song composed by Johnny Mercer (Lyrics) and Henry Mancini (Music) in 1961, for whom it won that year’s Academy Award for Best Original Song. It is most well-known for being sung in the moive Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Audrey Hepburn.
I like the melody of this song~ it makes me feel comfort and relax….sometimes, it did make my tears shedded…..

The Flower Show was held during 14 Mar – 24 Mar,2008. My company has a booth there for promotion of local organic vegetables. It seemed Organic vegetables are not related in Flower Show lol~ Anyway, they are PLANTS! I worked at there for 4 days and I spent one day on 22Mar to visit these beautiful flowers!!! I had taken pictures in Flower Show since 4 years ago.

Some information about this song
The song’s plaintive melody and simple lyrics depict a pre-adolescent girl’s desire to escape from the “hopeless jumble” of this world, from the sadness of raindrops to the bright new world “over the rainbow.” It expresses the childlike faith that a door will magically be opened to a place where “troubles melt like lemon-drops”.
The song is often referred to as “Somewhere Over The Rainbow,” but the actual title is simply “Over The Rainbow.” The introduction was not used in the movie, nor was there ever any intention of using it; but it is often used in theatrical productions of The Wizard of Oz “Over the Rainbow” is one of many popular songs whose lyrics use a “Bluebird of Happiness” as a symbol of cheer. (“If happy little bluebirds fly beyond the rainbow, why oh why can’t I?”)
The subsequent development of rainbow imagery linked to the gay community in the 1970s — the rainbow flag is often used as a symbol of gay pride – combined with the fact that the lyrics speak of a better life under changed circumstances and Garland’s role as a well known gay icon, have led to additional interpretations developed long after the song became famous.
Besides, I don’t think it’s good to let a little girl to sing in front of people, i mean to show her talent….though she can sing beautifully. It seems she lost her childhood, which made her different from other children to have a normal life. Now, a 6 year old girl becomes a super star, a singer, and to have her career…this little girl said she is happy of what she is doing now~Is it good to let her do what she wants……….???
I cannot believe my eyes!! how do they do that??? Of course, if i know, I will earn a lot lol~~ haha~ and it made them disappear too! This show has been showed in America’s got talent TV show. Many Americans to show their talents and try to get the big prize!
Anyway, it’s an amazing magic show and worth to look at!
