Shocking news: Michael Jackson died suddenly.. June 28, 2009

Famous singer/dancer Michael Jackson was died yesterday. I was feeling weird when I saw this news on tv. It is unbelievable. It is because he will have world concert soon.

Everywhere is talking about this news and reviewed his previous concerts/ musics on tv….I am not his fans, but i did hear some of his famous songs and his great dance on the show in the past.

Another issue is quite hot too, which is about his appearance. I am also interested about his changing…He did surgery on his face many times and changed the colour of the skin. No matter how he changed, he still has tons of fans follow him and love him. As I can see on tv news, there are many people prays for their idol when they feel so sad after got this sad news.

Movie: Angels and Demons May 14, 2009

I am looking forward watching this movie. I have read this book novel few years ago. Like Harry Potter, book is always better than the movie. I understand the movie is based on the book to present. Only time is not allowed to present ALL the details. The good thing is the movie could visualize the image of those books characters. I am really wanted to watch this movie soon… the movie will be on air in the theatre soon, unfortunately, I do not have time…. hope I can spare some time to watch this movie. Before that, I am reading that book again..

1 year after… 5.12 Sichuen earthquake May 12, 2009

Today is 12 of May. I am still remembered what happened in Sichuen. People who lived there still rebuild their houses, try their best to face their new life after the disaster.

This evening, a tv program is raising fund for Sichuen survivors and orphans. After a year, their life seems a bit better but they are still recovering at the moment. When they think of the dead, they kept crying a lot….( I saw it on tv). Those scenes touched my heart, my tear ready to shed again. I have to confess I am a person who easy make tears lol..

Hope those people at there could have their home as soon as possible. They are still living at the temporary build facilities. Besides, children still need education. Many people donated their money building new schools for children to continue their study. It is very important because this is the way to change their life, at least to have a better life.

Caution: Swine flu is spreading April 27, 2009

What is Swine flu?

It is a respiratory disease thoughtto spread through coughing and sneezing.

The symptoms of swine flu is mimic those of normal flu.

Good hygiene like using a tissue and washing hands throughly can help reduce transmission.

This “Swine Flu” is spreading from Mexico to USA, Canada and now in Europe. We have to aware about the hygiene, to prevent infection and transmission of disease. If you suffered flu, you better wear face mask when you are going out. The function of wearing face mask is to protect yourself and prevent flu transmit to others.

In Mexico, there were 103 dead ( 20 confirmed to have died from swine flu and 18 confirmed ill with swine flu)

In United States, there were 20 confirmed cases of swine flu.

In Canada, there were 6 confirmed cases.

In Spain, there was 1 confirmed case.

There are some cases still suspected in UK, Spain, Israel, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand.

This incident made me remember about the SARS which happened in year 2003. It’s a terrible year to us. There were many people died. Therefore, we are much more alert to this swine virus. Hope this crisis will be solved soon.

Italy Earthquake (6Apr) April 13, 2009

On 6 April, L’Aquila in italy had an earthquake of 6.3 magnitude. There are over 200 people died and destruction of buildings in this incident. There are many people became homeless. It made me thinking about the earthquake which happened in Sichuan, China in last year (12 May).

As we all can see the power of the nature again! When and where the earthquake would happen seems could not predictable accurately at the moment though scientists have many hi-tect equipments to help them for analysis.

On Wednesday (8Apr) (3 days after the earthquake), there was a Mass funeral for the dead.

Thousands mourn at the mass state funeral

Pope Benedict XVI urged quake survivors to be courageous and hopeful.

Haven’t had time to go to the cinema to watch this movie. I have bought a book “Q & A” in a bookstore to instead. I think the book could give me much more details about this story.  Now, I am reading about how Jamal Malik’s life in the past. Meanwhile, it let me understood something about the life of those poor indians in the slum.

Besides, it’s interesting to know how he could get those knowledges as all the people thought he should not know about it…..
